Our church is located in a wonderful community call Macca Tree District. The word "macca" is a Jamaica Creole word that refers to a prickle, bur, thorn or a sharp spine on plants or animals. Read more about the word macca here. It is said that the community was once infamous for such plants; as a result, the community was named Macca Tree District. Admittedly, not many "macca trees" can now be found in the community. Unlike many churches, our church is not name after the community. In fact, the 

Public transport to the community can be obtianed in Spanish Town, St. Catherine and also Old Harbour, St. Catherine. The vehicles from Spanish town will bring you closer to the destination and on average, this journey is approximately 30-45 minutes. You will pass places such as Green Acres, Kitson Town, Guanaboa Vale, Watermount and Pedro District on your way to our church. Also Churches such as Diamond Acres, Kitson Town, Bendon and Watermount SDA churches are on the main road that leads to our church.
